Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

One car crashed into a gas pump at the S&M Market in Bradshaw around 10:17 p.m. Thursday. Dispatchers with McDowell County Emergency Services say two people were trapped in the car. Bradshaw and Iaeger Fire
One car crashed into a gas pump at the S&M Market in Bradshaw around 10:17 p.m. Monday.
Crews are on the scene of a structure fire in Bluefield, W.Va.
The fire happened at 8:30 a.m. on Stovall Street, off of Lyndale Avenue. It took them nearly three hours to get the fire under control. The home was apparently unoccupied, but there was a live power line connected. Bluefield Fire Department, Bluefield Virginia Fire Department and Bluefield Rescue responded to the fire.
Firefighters said the blaze was the fifth fire they had responded to in the last week. There are no indications that the blaze was intentionally set, but a state Fire Marshal did respond to the scene just before 12 p.m.
