Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

One car crashed into a gas pump at the S&M Market in Bradshaw around 10:17 p.m. Thursday. Dispatchers with McDowell County Emergency Services say two people were trapped in the car. Bradshaw and Iaeger Fire

The search is on for two men in Raleigh County.
Beckley Police officers are looking for Darnell Mitchell, 25.
He's wanted for destruction of property, obstructing an officer and fleeing from police on foot.
Mitchell has black hair and brown eyes and was last known to be living on Conway Street in Beckley.
Kristopher Coburn is also on the run.
He is wanted by the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department for felony transfer of stolen property.
Coburn is described as 5-feet, 11-inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 304-255-STOP.
