Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

Sometimes, West Virginia's state government impedes business for no other reason than it seems like they want to.
This latest mess with the Greenbrier is a prime example of that. Rather than work with this historic resort, one that was about a step away from being shuttered just a few short years ago, they're forcing them to stop a much needed revenue stream.
Why? Because of some unnecessary and pointless regulation. Only in West Virginia would we put bureaucracy over entrepreneurship.
