LEWISBURG -

A release from the Greenbrier County Office of Emergency Management asks that people around the county report structural damage to residential buildings and businesses as a result of Hurricane Sandy.

The Greenbrier County Homeland Security and Emergency Management will be submitting all damage reports to the West Virginia Homeland Security and Emergency Management.  That information will be passed on to FEMA for consideration of public and individual assistance.

Structural damage does not include food loss or downed trees unless they damaged your home.

Emergency officials also want to make sure that residents are aware of the deadline to register with FEMA for your personal damages related to the June 29th Derecho.  That is Nov. 19, 2012.

The number to call to report damages from Hurricane Sandy is (304)645-5444.
