W.Va. cheerleader coach facing sex charge fired

    One man died and another is behind bars Saturday after a son shoots and kills his father at their Overlook Drive home in Stanaford.Raleigh County Sheriff's Deputies said 23-year-old Donald Gray Dunn, Jr.
    On Saturday morning, Donald Gray Dunn Jr. shot and killed his step father, Mark McDermott and attempted to shoot and kill his mother, JoHanna McDermott in their own home.

The Marion County Board of Education has fired a freshman cheerleader coach who's accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old male student.

Amanda Jo Barker also is barred from attending future high school events.

The Times West-Virginian (http://bit.ly/nET7vY ) reports that the school board unanimously voted Monday to fire Barker from her cheerleading job at North Marion High School.

West Virginia State Police arrested the 31-year-old Barker on Oct. 23 on three counts of sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust.
