A woman who hit a Virginia State Trooper with her car has officially been charged.

Angelica Valencia of Doswell in Hanover County was charged with reckless driving for her part in the the death of Virginia State Trooper Andrew Fox of Tazewell County. 

The incident happened on Oct. 5 when Fox was directing traffic at the state fair.  He was wearing a reflective vest at the time.  Neither Valencia nor her juvenile passenger were injured in the crash.
