Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -
An accident on Airport Road in Mercer County is still under investigation more than 24 hours after the incident happened.
Sheriff's Deputies are trying to determine what exactly happened at around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8 when one car apparently rammed another causing it to wreck. Shortly after the accident occurred shots rang out and the subjects scattered. Three of those people were found in a green Ford Explorer that was parked behind the Green Valley Public Service District.
Detectives told 59News that eight or more people are believed to have been involved.
"Basically the reason for this is a possible drug deal that went bad," said Detective L. B. Murphy with the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
There are still three persons of interest in the case who are being treated for injuries from the accident. Det. Murphy said no one was hit by the gunfire.
The incident is still under investigation, but no arrests have been made yet. Murphy said that the prosecutor is expected to file charges in the future.
