Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

59 News has new details into a weekend pet store robbery.
Police said the suspect didn't get away with cash but instead a pink and gray, rose-breasted cockatoo worth $2,200.
His name is Floyd and police said it all happened on Sunday at the "Pet Supply Plus" store in Beckley.
Officials said a white male hid the 10-month old Floyd under his coat and took off in an SUV.
"The business has some concerns about the bird because it has an illness and needs medication and also the bird had a cone around it's neck due to its illness," Capt. Jeff Shumate, Beckley Police Dept. said.
If anyone have seen Floyd, please call crime stoppers at 255-STOPP.
