    Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20.  A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County.  The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.

    911 dispatchers confirm a stabbing has occurred at the Beckley Plaza on Friday. It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday. No word on the victims and the conditions of the victims. The Beckley Police Department

59 News broke this story on Friday, a body found on the steps of a church in Lewisburg has been identified and now that name is being released.

Chief Stover of the Lewisburg Police Department said the person is Thomas Daniel Cardis, 40 of Sheperdstown, formerly of Lewisburg.

He said Cardis was found in a alleyway between True Value Hardware and Mt. Tabor Church on Friday afternoon. No foul play is suspected and the body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine cause of death. Detective Cpl. J.A. Vance is the investigating this case.
