A year after the remains of Rachel Toler are discovered in Stewart Cemetery, the search for her killer continues.
Toler went missing from Oceana in August of 2011, along with four others – Sherry Myers, Chester Stuart, and Brian Cook.
"When she had been missing for so long, we knew something was wrong," said her mother Marie Gunter.
For months, deputies searched the surrounding area, looking for some clue that might lead to a suspect, but to no end.
There hasn't been enough concrete evidence yet to make an arrest.
"Rachel always told us if anything ever happened to her, she wanted to be buried at stewart cemetery. We think she may have messed up and told someone that. And that person killed her and hauled her up there," said Gunter.
Gunter is asking anyone with information contact the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department.
