BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -

Families in need will have a place to eat for Thanksgiving.

Bluefield Union Mission is celebrating its 81st Annual Banquet tomorrow.

They are expecting to serve between six hundred to seven hundred people.

Director Craig Hammond talks to us about why Thanksgiving is "Bluefield Union Missions" favorite holiday.

"It's our favorite holiday because I think it's the only holiday that has not been corrupted by commercialism. I mean its really simple, its a day you set aside to show thanks and give gratitude," said Bluefield Union Mission Director Craig Hammond

He says anyone and everyone is always welcome

They open tomorrow at 11AM and won't close until everyone in line is fed.
