The Princeton Mercer County Chamber of Commerce is letting residents know that their usual ride home may need to be along a different route this evening.

The annual Christmas Parade in Princeton is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 26.  That means traffic patterns will be disrupted from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thorn Street will be blocked off at Sought Wickham.  Mercer Street will be blocked on both ends.

The parade begins at the 5th Street stop light on Mercer Street and ends at the Mercer Count Courthouse.

Officials said that there will be congestion around Mercer Street, Straley Avenue, Thorn Street and Harrison Street.

Resident who live in the upper side of Thorn and Mercer Streets are being told to come in from the west end of Princeton using North Walker Street.  Residents of Harrison Street are being asked to use Princeton AVeent from Stafford Drive to get home.
