A sharp increase in the number of meth labs over the past few months is bringing a call to action by all law enforcement agencies in parts of our area.
PRINCETON -
Three Mercer County fires keep crews busy Monday night from 6 p.m. to about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.
First, crews responded to a mobile home fire on Kirby Addition Road in Princeton Monday evening.
No one was home at the time of the fire. The fire has been extinguished.
Also, multiple departments responded to a fire at a vacant house on Duck Pond Road in Bluewell around 12:25 Monday night. Crews from Bluewell, Bramwell and Montcalm responded.
Firefighters were called back to the scene at 4 a.m. for a rekindle. It has since been contained.
Lastly, at 1 a.m., a home on Razorback Road in Montcalm also caught fire. Montcalm, Bluestone Valley, Matoaka and Green Valley fire departments responded. The fire was contained shortly after.
