Morrow
collected her second post-season honor while Colby Combs earned her
first when the NCCAA MidEast All-Region Volleyball selections were
announced by the regional staff.
Morrow followed up on her Mid-South Conference honors as she was selected First Team MidEast All-Region while Combs was
named to Honorable Metion.
Morrow
a 5-foot-8, freshman outside hitter from Woodbridge, Va., led the
region with 444 kills. She had at least 10 kills
in 23 of her 35 appearances including a career high 29 against Midway
on Oct. 27 that surpassed her previous high of 25 set on Sept. 21
against Virginia Intermont.
Morrow finished the season ranked in the top-10 in three statistical categories in the MidEast Region including first in
kill average per set (3.88), eighth in attacking percentage (.242), and tenth in digs per set (2.84).
Combs a 5-foot-11, freshman outside hitter from Vilas, N.C., finished the season fourth in aces per set (0.42), and kills
per set (2.92) while she finished one spot ahead of Morrow in digs per set (2.96) at ninth in the MidEast Region.
A total of 13 women earned First Team All MidEast Region while another seven were named honorable mention as voted on by
the coaches.
