UPDATE: Driver and Passenger Safe in WV Turnpike Car Fire

A car goes up in flames along the West Virginia Turnpike on Monday, Dec. 3.

Firefighters with the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene at around 11 a.m.  59News was on the scene before emergency responders arrived. 

Two freshmen students from Concord were driving north when the fire broke out.  Both were able to get out the car safely.  Another man pulled over to help caution people driving along the Turnpike.
