    Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20.  A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County.  The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
    The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Federal health officials said if you haven't gotten your flu shot, now is the time to go get one.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports flu season is officially underway, the earliest start in nearly a decade.

Doctors said this could shape up to be a bad flu year because one of the strains circulating can cause severe illness, but there is good news if you get vaccinated the C.D.C. said this year's vaccine matches up well with the strains they are seeing.
