BECKLEY -

The extortion case that targeted Beckley billionaire Christopher Cline went into recess over the lunch hour on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

U.S. Magistrate Clarke Vandervort addressed Vivek shah's motion to ask for another defense attorney. According to Shah's motion, he and his lawyer, Troy Giatra, are not seeing eye to eye on their defense strategy.  Shah's motion states "(I have) my own strategies" on how to move forward.
