Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Stores and malls are getting anxious for this holiday season. They are worried about an increase in shoplifting.
Lieutenant Larry Lily explains how stores can protect themselves from thieves this holiday season.
"Mainly they want their employees to be observant. If something doesn't look right they probably need to pay attention to that. If something is suspicious, such as if they're wearing baggy clothing and the weather isn't appropriate, you probably need to pay extra attention to that individual."
Lily says security cameras and security tags on expensive items can be a businesses best defense.
