PRINCETON -

An early morning house fire near Princeton leaves one person dead on Sunday.

Mercer County dispatchers say the fire started around 2 a.m. Dec. 16 at a home on Old Pisgah Road.

Authorities have not confirmed the identity of the victim.

East River Fire Department responded to the call.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Dispatchers say the state fire marshal was on scene Sunday morning.
