Bomb threat causes evacuation of Wirt County High School

According to Wirt County 911, a bomb threat was received by Wirt County High School Monday around 10:38 a.m.

The school was evacuated and there were no reported injuries.

According to a secretary at the Wirt County Board of Education, other schools in the county were also put on lockdown.

Wirt County Sheriff's deputies and the West Virginia State Police troopers are investigating. 

A canine unit from Morgantown is searching the school for bombs and police planned to have the building cleared by the end of the day.
