Fayette County Sheriff deputies are looking into a home invasion that happened Wednesday morning. According to 911 dispatchers, it happened at a home on Gatewood Road in Oak Hill at approximately 1 a.m.

RAINELLE -
Police in Rainelle are searching for a man they say stole several items from a house on Horton Avenue, including the tires off of car.
Police Chief, J.P. Stevens said they are looking for Thomas Andrew Laton of Charmco. They said Laton and Jameson Hampton broke into the home and stole a computer, three bows and the tires. The crime apparently took place some time during the week of Dec. 10, but wasn't reported until Friday, Dec. 14.
Hampton was arrested on Monday, Dec. 17 and is being held on $20,000 bond in the Southern Regional Jail. The stolen computer and bows were recovered and were apprently thrown out of a car window near the Alta exit of Interstate 64.
Anyone with information on where Laton is should contact the Rainelle Police Department.
