Increased cancer risk for 9/11 first responders

A new study finds first responders who were exposed to dust and debris in the aftermath of the World Trade Center attacks had increased cases of prostate and thyroid cancers and multiple myeloma, but the research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association said it is not clear if other factors contributed to the spike in cancer cases.
