LEWISBURG -

If you want free osteopathic manipulation treatment it's time to pick up the phone and call to make your appointments!

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is offering a free clinic for everyone starting in January.

All you need is a referral from your primary care physician before you call to make an appointment.

Clinic directors say they typically see patients from more than five surrounding counties.

Clinic Organizer and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Deb Schmidt said, "The patients themselves receive free care and a lot of patients that are uninsured actually wait until this free clinic and take advantage of it and I think we have benefited the health of a lot of people."

The osteopathic manipulative treatments are provided by the medical students under the care of a supervising physician.

The clinic will be open every Wednesday afternoon beginning January 16th and ending March 27th.

To schedule your appointment just call 304-793-6823.
