ALUM BRIDGE, W.Va. (AP) -

Lewis County authorities are finally breaking their silence on the case of a woman and two children found dead after a barn fire more than a month ago.

Sheriff's Deputy Robert Ryan says he'll hold a press conference Thursday morning in Weston. He offered no further details ahead of the briefing.

Thirty-2-year-old Beth Ann Kraus was found in the burned-out barn near Alum Bridge on Nov. 12 along with her children - 3-year-old Kiera and 5-year-old Kaden.

Autopsies by the state medical examiner's office later showed all three had died of gunshot wounds.

Doug Kraus told police he discovered the bodies of his wife and children after working a night shift.

Investigators labeled the fire suspicious because the barn had no utilities, but there have been no arrests.
