At least one firefighter is injured following a house fire in Summers County on Thursday, Dec. 20.
According to members of the Hinton Fire Department, the fireman was injured, after falling through the floor at a home on Fayette Street in Hinton. The name of the fireman is not being released at this time. However, the fireman was taken to an area hospital.
No one was home when the fire broke out.
Firefighters said the house had significant damage, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal.
