FAYETTE COUNTY -

59 News first told you of a home invasion in Fayette County early Saturday morning.

Now we know that another home was invaded, this one right down the road from the first one and just a few hours later.

Around 4AM Saturday morning, a man and a woman knocked on Millers' door and told him their car had broken down and asked to use his cell phone. Before he could even fully open the door, they threw him to the ground, put a pistol to his head and demanded money and pills. Once they realized he didn't have any pills, they then stole cash and credit cards out of his mother's purse and ran out.

Millers first reaction was to see if his mother was okay.

"I couldn't believe what happened. I was scared for my mom, she's 74 years old and can't take care of herself, she had to move in with me."

He says that, because of this experience, he no longer trusts anyone.

"If I wouldn't had seen that you were with FOX 59, I wouldn't have come out. I'll never answer the door at night time no more. Not unless I talk to them on the phone and know that they are coming."

He tells me how he would have handled the home invasion had he the means to defend himself.

"If I would have had a gun I would have shot them both. I hate saying that, I've never shot no body but when you're in a situation like that, you don't know what's going to happen."

When asked what Miller would say to the intruders, he said he would tell them that their time is coming, and it's coming soon.

Fayette County Captain Jim Sizemore explains to homeowners how they should react should a home invasion happen to them.

"Just a warning to home owners, if you get a knock or hear the door bell ringing, particularly after dark, and you don't know the individual, don't open the door. Call 911 immediately and let the individual know that you've called 911."
