    911 dispatchers confirm a stabbing has occurred at the Beckley Plaza on Friday. It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday. No word on the victims and the conditions of the victims. The Beckley Police Department

Appalachian Power is reporting thousands of customers were in the dark on the day after Christmas.

Emergency responders are working to remove downed trees on Tuesday, Dec. 26 after high winds and freezing rain moved into the area.
