BECKLEY -

Well we've been hearing about this new MTV reality show called Buckwild for a while now, and it's either something people are excited to see or are furious with.

And it's finally here, the day West Virginians get to witness the show that puts the youth of our state in the spotlight.

21-year-old Hunter Harless of Meadow Bridge said, "I saw the previews it looked a lot like the life me and my friends live around here so I'm really excited about it."

Buddy Carnes of Meadow Bridge said he's watching it because he is, "very interested to see what they have to say."

Nila Mullins of Charmco said, "I can't say I won't look at it but I wont be a fan I can tell you that ahead of time I wont be a fan of it!"

It's definitely a subject getting West Virginians heated... but some area youth take no offense.

Harless said, "It's just a bunch of kids having fun they'll probably grow out of it one day and become some upstanding individuals one day but for now they're just kids having fun nothing wrong with that."

But Mullins said, "I think its a gross interpretation of West Virginia people we do have people like that but they're in every state."

You can catch Buckwild on MTV Thursday nights at 10 p.m.
