Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

Beckley police responded to an accident early Tuesday morning. They say a drunk driver drove into a ditch. The accident happened Eisenhower Dr. near the All-State Insurance Office and Dollar General store

Emergency crews were been busy in Fayette County Saturday.
Emergency dispatchers say one woman was life-flighted after an accident in the Armstrong Creek area.
They say a woman with a horse was hit by a vehicle around 3 p.m.
She was flown to an area hospital with neck and back injuries.
No word on the driver's condition or the horse.
And another person was life-flighted from Fayette County Saturday, this one an ATV accident.
Fayette County Sheriff's Captain Jim Sizemore says it happened around 5:30 p.m. in the Robson area.
The driver of the ATV was found unconscious after his 4-wheeler overturned.
Sizemore says he believes the driver was flown to a Charleston hospital.
