Marshall making websites mobile compatibile

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -

Marshall University is changing its websites to make them compatible with all types of mobile devices.

A new website launched in late December reformats the university's main pages to fit all sizes of screens.

Web designer Eden Parker tells The Herald-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/XBtEwW ) that the new site uses a framework developed by Twitter.

Enterprise Applications assistant director John Cummings says this is the first phase in a project to make all Marshall websites compatible with mobile devices.
