A Raleigh County family is left in the cold after an early morning fire damages their home.

Firefighters spent more than two hours battling a blaze and cleaning up after a fire was reported at a home on Lance Ln. in Cool Ridge. The fire was reported just after 1 a.m. Monday morning.

Everyone who lived in the home was able to get out.

Raleigh County Sheriff's deputies and the West Virginia State Fire Marshal have been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
