Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

Beckley police responded to an accident early Tuesday morning. They say a drunk driver drove into a ditch. The accident happened Eisenhower Dr. near the All-State Insurance Office and Dollar General store

Part of Interstate 64 was shut down to help with clean up after a truck crashed just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
The driver was able to crawl out of the truck, but was taken to a near by hospital. The accident happened at mile marker 173
Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.
