The case of a man accused of killing a family from Greenbrier County went before the grand jury in Nicholas County on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

59News has learned the grand jury indicted James Belknap for the murder of Stephen Hendrix, his two small children, and Amber Martin.  The family was reported missing in May from Greenbrier County.  Their bodies were found a week later in Nicholas County.

Authorities believe the murder was motivated by a drug debt.  Belknap will be arraigned in circuit court next week.
