Law enforcement officers with the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force joined with the McDowell County Sheriff's Office in a raid on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Deputies said that they had reports of a suspected meth lab near War.  One arrest was made in the raid, which took place just after 12 p.m. 

59 News has learned that 20-year-old Greer Orell was arrested for operation of a meth lab.  Deputies said Orell was released from jail on bond.

Officers also confiscated the meth lab.
