BECKELY -

One local student actor is coming back home to the mountain state and is taking the spotlight.

The Raleigh County Playhouse and Theatre is very excited to introduce Brooks Cline. Brooks will be performing William Shakespeare's Sonnet 116!

Brooks is a recent graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and now a sophomore drama student at New York University.

A Piney View, WV, native, Brooks is very grateful for getting his start by taking a variety of acting and musical theatre classes with Theatre West Virginia's Professional Training Academy.

He has had a blast taking on roles in school shows at Woodrow, community theater companies like the Treehouse Arts Ensemble at Tamarack, and Theatre West Virginia's summer outdoor dramas and musicals at Grandview.
