Christopher Bryant's father, Denver Allen Bryant, 61, of Beckley was also arrested for the role he played in this crime. Police said he is facing and transferring stolen property charges for taking stolen property to a pawn shop.
"We want to use this opportunity to educate the public," said Sgt. Dave Allard, with the Beckley Police Dept. "The home owners didn't do anything wrong. They hired a trusted source and we would just recommend having a family member there keeping an eye on them."
A third suspect is still on the run. Police are looking for Steven Kesterson, 27, who was also employed by the contractor. Police tell 59News that they have reason to believe he helped Bryant take the jewelry from the home.
