A Fayette County man is behind bars after Beckley Police say he admitted to raping a woman in a mental hospital. Michael Settle of Lochgelly was arrested and taken to Southern Regional Jail around 10 p.m.

Due to the ongoing power outages, Monroe County is offering a free hot meal to those still without power.
The meal will be served on Sunday, Jan. 20 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Lindside United Methodist Church's Family Life Center.
The Monroe County Office of Emergency Services asks that you help spread the word about this meal and reminds you to continue to check on your neighbors, friends and family. As of 9:15 a.m. on Sunday morning there were still more than 900 AEP customers without power in Monroe County. More than 200 homes and businesses in Mercer County were without electricity.
