BLACKSBURG, Va. -

Concord University indoor men's track and field team standout R.J. Anderson delivered a pair of top-15 performances at the Virginia Tech Invitational. Anderson placed fifth in the 200-meter dash and 11th in the 60-meter dash.

He ran a time of 21.93 seconds in the 200-meters while also posting a mark of 6.97 seconds in the 60-meters despite being settled with a faulty starting block.

Anderson, who currently owns the 10th best time in the 200-meters (21.80 seconds) and the 15th-fastest mark in the 60-meters (6.85 seconds) in all of NCAA Division II, has already met the NCAA provisional qualifying standard in both races after dominating performances at last weekend's Doug Raymond Invitational.
