Cold temperatures continue throughout the region as morning lows remain in the single digits with wind chills dropping to -5 to -15.When the temperatures fall -- often times it's seniors who suffer. Winter weather makes it even harder for senior citizens to get out.

So seniors need to be sure they have access to the things you need.  If you don't, Fayette County Senior programs is offering ways to help you out.

"We are doing daily phone calls, sending items out, we are offering to help you in any way take your to doctor, take you to get your medicine, do your shopping for you because I suggest with this cold that your stay indoor," Janet Zamiela, Director said.
