Sarah joined WVNS 59News in January 2013 as Weekday Evening Anchor for the 5, 6, 10 and 11 o'clock newscasts. She's proud to be part of the hardest working news team in southern West Virginia.

Before joining CBS/FOX 59, Sarah worked as a one-man-band reporter for Time Warner Cable's 24-hour local news channel in Charlotte, North Carolina where she re-launched the station's Salisbury Bureau. During her time there, she cultivated new sources and covered breaking news as well as statewide issues. Sarah also covered ongoing controversies in the Piedmont, such as prayer at public county commission meetings and the marriage equality debate.

Sarah previously worked as a News Assistant for New York City's well-respected, NY1. She worked side-by-side with reporters shooting breaking news and gathering interviews. Sarah gained experience covering hearings for 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and Najibullah Zazi, ringleader of the NYC subway bomb plot. She also enjoyed covering Fashion Week and New Year's Eve in Times Square. 

Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, where she was a Broadcast Journalism Major.

She enjoys meeting new people, spending time with her family and checking out new movies and music. She has a passion for animals and supports rescue and adoption efforts.
