The victim in a November shooting in Beckley has died.
Detective Dave Allard with the Beckley police department confirms Isaiah Shivers died on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 24. The shooting happened Nov. 12, 2012 along Hartley Avenue.
Allard said the case is still under investigation, and officers are awaiting the results of the autopsy.
Back in November, police arrested Darius Toney in relation to the shooting. He faces a charge of wanton endangerment.
Toney allegedly opened fire on a passing vehicle along Hartley Avenue. That happened about the same time as another shooting on Hartley that left one man in the hospital.
