BECKELY -

59 news crews helped one family this winter get her furnace working.  But there are still dozens of families in the area who can't afford their heating bill or get their heating system serviced. The Salvation Army is hoping you can help by making donations.

Just log onto the Salvation Army web site and find the county you would like to donate too. Those who donate are suggested to write how they would like their donations spent. Under the comments section write folks can write they would like their money put towards paying someone's heating bill or paying to have their heating system serviced.

"Resources are so limited right now. We've already run out of funds. Yesterday we had 8 families come in and had to turn them away. It's hard, it's hard to say that we don't have the ability to help them right now," Capt. Robert Barber with the Salvation Army said.

So many families still need help and you can donate by clicking here.
