This cold spell we've been dealing with has obviously been hard on our bodies, our vehicles and our homes.
But it's also hard on all of our electronic devices we keep handy.
The most commonly used one... our cell phones.
Experts say you should pay extra attention to your cell phones this time of year by not leaving them sit in your vehicle or other cold places.
Lindsey Ormsbee with Verizon Wireless said, "With the weather being cold like this it can sap your battery life and lead to bigger problems with your phone so no I would never leave my phone in the car especially in cold weather."
They also say if you plan on taking your phone to the slopes this winter, it's a smart idea to have insurance and make sure you have a good case on the phone because it's especially prone to water damage and getting broken while on the mountain.
