Beckley Police have confirmed with 59News that Christopher Brown, who allegedly beat up a manager at Olive Garden back on Jan. 28 was arrested. The arrest was made on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Police officers said Brown was arrested on a Malicious Wounding charge. He has been released on a $5,000 bond. Brown is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Beckley Police are searching for Christopher Brown who allegedly beat up a manager at Olive Garden in the morning hours on Monday, Jan. 28.
Brown was an employee at the restaurant. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call the Beckley Police Department.
The victim was Sherry Lopez. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment. There is no word on her condition at this time.

The Olive Garden in Beckley was the center of an early morning disturbance on Monday, Jan. 28.
What was being called a "disturbance" at the restaurant by emergency dispatchers was confirmed by investigators with the Beckley Police Department to be a physical altercation between an employee and a manager. It happened just before 9 a.m. The manager was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Beckley Police have had an officer at the restaurant throughout the day to provide extra security. Meanwhile the incident is still under investigation by the Beckley Police Department.
