RALEIGH COUNTY -

Wednesday marks the 6th Anniversary of the Ghent explosion.

Fred Burroughs, Craig Dorsey, Glen Bennett and Jeff Treadway died six years ago today. Donnie Caldwell died from complications of his injuries in 2010. The 7th memorial blood drive has held Wednesday in remembrance of those who died.

"The ladies that were injured in the explosion, they all received blood product. So we feel like if we can continue each year to have the blood drive then we can continue to give back to what the community gave us six years ago," said Hazel Burroughs, wife of one of the victims.

If you missed Wednesdays drive, you can go to the American Red Cross in Beckley to donate and tell them it's for the Ghent Explosion Memorial.
