    Authorities at the Beckley Correctional Facility are searching for a missing inmate. Joshua Greenwood was reported missing late Monday night. Guards say he was unaccounted for in a 10:15 p.m. head count.

CLARKSBURG -

The U.S. Small Business Administration added two new staff members at its West Virginia district office.

Larry Batten and Nikki Bowmar were hired as economic development specialists. They will focus on enhancing the awareness of SBA programs and services in West Virginia. Bowmar also will serve as the organization's public information officer and will be responsible for handling all media inquiries.

Batten, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, comes to the SBA with more than 12 years of experience in site management. A native of Lewis County, he earned a bachelor's degree in business and business analysis from Bellevue University.

Bowmar has years of experience in marketing and public relations. In her most recent role, she functioned as a brand manager for MedExpress Urgent Care. Bowmar earned a bachelor's of science degree in journalism from West Virginia University.
