CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A Kanawha County man has been sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole for killing and dismembering a co-worker.

Media outlets report Charles Eugene March of Chesapeake was sentenced Thursday in Kanawha County Circuit Court for first-degree murder.

Kathy Goble was last seen in April 2010 at a Charleston men's clothing store where she and March worked. The 62-year-old Goble's remains were found buried in March's backyard last April.

Authorities say March attempted suicide in August while he was in custody at the South Central Regional Jail. He climbed onto a second-story railing and fell about 12 feet to a concrete floor.
