Some residents of Northern West Virginia aren't getting their newspapers, and Rep. David McKinley's staff said it's working to fix the problem.
Jim Forbes, spokesman for the Republican who represents the 1st Congressional District, said the problem was brought to the staff's attention last week. Apparently, several constituents have reported problems receiving their newspapers through the mail.
"We discovered that some papers are experiencing this problem at a rate as high as 50 percent of households not receiving their paper," Forbes said.
Forbes urged people who aren't receiving their newspapers to contact him. He said he wants to hear from constituents to determine if the problem is an isolated issue or a widespread problem throughout the state.
