The Marathon Gas station was selling Powerball tickets like crazy.
Those who didn't try their luck on Wednesday said they'll stick to working hard for the money they earn.
"Well we always buy one when the jackpot gets high. So this was a good time to buy," said Betsy Adkins of Flat Top.
"I don't buy lottery tickets because there's too less of a chance to win. And I'd rather have a sure thing instead of throwing a coin into a wishing well and I don't get a well wish," Alex Bragg of Ghent said.
