Pedestrian killed after being hit by train in St. Albans

UPDATE:

The train traffic resumed around 7:35 p.m. Saturday night after being delayed for almost two hours.

One person is dead after being hit by a train on the 300 block of B Street in St. Albans.

Dispatchers say the call came in just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

St. Albans Police are investigating the incident.
